TPU的合成方法按有无溶剂可分为两类：无溶剂的本体聚合法和有溶剂的溶液聚合法。本体聚合按反应步骤又可分为一步法和预聚体法。一步法是将低聚物二元醇、二异氰酸酷和扩链剂同时混合生成。一步法工艺简单，操作方便，但其反应热难以排除，易产生副反应。用一步法合成了聚酯型热塑性聚氨酯弹性体，首先在反应器中称取配方量的聚酯多元醇和扩链剂，丁二醇，升温至120℃真空脱水。迅速加入已预热的快速搅拌均匀，倒入已预热的容器中，于120℃真空焙烘，再降温至100℃烘得浅黄色半透明聚氨酯产物，之后在平板压机上压制成试片，制备的TPU具有较高的力学性能和阻尼性能
