　　很多TPE厂家都宣传自己的TPE是食品级的。这个论题值得商榷，食品级只是商家的一个卖点和促销手段。

　　食品级标准只是一个笼统的概念，对于不同材料而言，有不同的测试标准。材料食品级测试标准，美国FDA对于TPE的检测要求是要过蒸馏水及正己烷测.

　　而目前能够同时过这两项测试的TPE厂家可谓是凤毛麟角。一些TPE产品应用，虽然是用在是食品相关行业，但由于应用要求没那么严格，只需要过蒸馏水检测，或者过ROHS,REACH就可以，那这类食品级环保测试要求，TPE基本都是可以通过的。
