耐高温性不足

　　热塑性弹性体之所以拥有优越的热塑性树脂的加工性能是因为在高温下热塑性弹性体的物理交联消失，但这既是优点，也是缺点，所以在长期高温状态下，热塑性弹性体的一些性能会大幅度下降，比如TPE产品可以在80～90℃条件下几个小时内保持其强度和回弹性，但若时间过长便会发生软化，失去使用价值，仍以轮胎为例，在连续行驶过程中轮胎即使持续发热仍要保持良好的力学性能，这显然是热塑性弹性体不能胜任的；
