回弹性、压缩变形、抗撕裂性能不足

　　热塑性橡胶的交联属于物理交联，热固性橡胶则是地道的化学交联，所以在拉伸强度、压缩强度回弹性、抗撕裂性等指标方面远远不如热固性橡胶，这不是能通过简单的改性就能够可以做到的，因而在汽车、重型汽车、飞机等的轮胎应用中，与热塑性弹性体无缘，至少是目前无缘（听说也已有使用热塑性弹性体应用与轮胎的前沿研究）
